“I had been hankering for a property abroad for many years, and after some bad experiences in both Italy and France I decided to turn my attention to Cyprus. So like many, I decided to carry out initial research predominantly via the internet. I soon discovered that forsale.com.cy was one of the few professional web-sites, that was comprehensive, user friendly and just as important, up to date. The web-site not only offered properties for sale all over Cyprus, but provided useful information on the buying process in Cyprus.

Prior to visiting Cyprus, I had numerous exchanges of e-mails with Christa and Michalis in Larnaca over potential properties I was keen to obtain information on. This helped me to determine the type of property I was after and the properties I was keen to view when visiting Cyprus. When I arrived in Cyprus and met both Christa and Michalis, I found them personable, courteous, and extremely helpful.

After a frenetic few days of viewing properties with Christa and Michalis, I had not quite found the right property (I am in fact quite a fussy customer). I was beginning to feel that the right property was not out there for me. Undaunted, Christa and Michalis continued to search for the right property for me. Just when I was losing hope, they found my dream property on our penultimate visit!

Christa and Michalis continued to be supportive and very helpful during the buying process: help I could ill afford to do with out. Now Im looking forward to enjoying many holidays in Cyprus.

We had been "scanning" the internet for about 3 years, preparing ourselves for the time when we would be ready to buy, so we had a fair idea of prices in our preferred location. We had about 30 web-sites in our "favourites", but always found www.forsale.com.cy a pleasure to view for ease and choice.

A promising property on their site, led us to visit Cyprus ahead of schedule, helped by the prompt responses to email enquiries we had with Michalis. To cut a long story short, we ended up buying another property that he took us to on the same day, which was slightly over our cash budget, but was nevertheless the house of our dreams!! - the funny thing was that WE did not imagine getting such a property! Michalis has a good relationship with the developers, who are a pleasure to deal with. He also put us on to a good solicitor who had dealt with a previous property sale on the same development which helped. The house is due for completion as scheduled, and we are confident in our choice - so much so that we have not had to bother Michalis too much. But then we feel that is a good reflection on his abilites to put you in touch with the right people in the first place.

Our only regret was that we could not afford 2 houses..........Christa from the Larnaca office had also shown us some very promising properties and we felt really sad to choose otherwise as she had done so well interpreting our requirements.

We like their philosophy of only showing you houses that they would live in. Along with that you have the good web-site, ease of communication by phone or email, and their "pressure free" approach. Their property prices are also very realistic and they do not seem to be biased towards developers, like some we visited!!

Buying a property in Cyprus was made much easier by the professionalism and help of the staff at ForSale.com.cy. First we looked at Paphos and found the staff there Robert and of course his wife, very helpful.

We however decided on Larnaka, and Christa was always there with help and advice when we needed it, nothing was too much trouble, from viewing many properties with her to acquiring a lawyer for us at short notice once we had made our decision, and then sorting out the contract along with the developer and the lawyer, and the subsequent signing of the contract.
